Cover for Nook
I am betting that like thousands of others in this country, you received a Nook ereader for Christmas, and now are wondering how you are going to cover it and keep it free from damage. You could just do like we did in grade school, and get a paper bag, a pair of scissors, and tape, and make yourself a book cover. But now, as it was then, that just doesn't look cool, and it doesn't last that long.
There are so many great covers for Nook ereaders out there that it might even be a little overwhelming. I think that it really comes down to what you are looking for as far as functionality, price, or looks. You can get a cover for Nook ereaders for fairly cheap, but the protection that you will be buying will be minimal, and it will not be very good looking. You can also buy a cover for Nook designed by Jack Spade or Kate Spade. These covers are beautiful, trendy, highly functional, and of course, quite expensive. They often sell for anywhere between $50 to $194.
One of my favorite cover for Nook ereaders is the JAVOedge Cherry Blossom cover. It features a flip jacket so that you don't have to worry about it folding back over your Nook screen. The case design offers a snug, padded fit for your Nook, and it includes a kickstand so it can be propped for hands-free viewing. A magnetic enclosure makes opening and closing your Nook easy, and the interior sleeve is lined with interior pockets for storage of document essentials for your on-the-go-needs. All in all it is a real beauty, although a bit girly, and it functions quite well.
If you are a guy and are looking for a cool cover, I would seriously look into a Jack Spade cover for Nook. Although they are a little bit more expensive, the quality and look of his covers is unsurpassed. For the guys that are looking for a rugged yet still stylish look, the Jack Spade Canvas cover for Nook is awesome! It was inspired by a traditional workman's glove. This stylishly functional top-loading cover is covered with 22-ounce cotton canvas, constructed with resilient materials that improve with age then finished with a rubber latex bottom for added protection and durability. The lightly padded interior is lined in a gray and white cotton graph check pattern, securing your reader in place with a custom brass snap and waxwear tab.
If you are the kind of guy that likes the best, then the Jack Spade Navy Embossed cover for Nook ereaders is the cover for you. It's constructed of antiqued hand-rubbed leather with an embossed anchor design engineered into the surface and a Jack Spade logo at the bottom; the anchors have a deep, dark tone that makes an appealing contrast to the blue background. Inside, you'll find a colorful tableau of classic tattoo designs printed on cotton. Two generous storage pockets are trimmed in leather, as is the sturdy cup that holds your NOOK securely with the aid of elastic straps at the top; a slot in the bottom of the cup allows access to the ports at all times. A distinctive Jack Spade ID label is stitched to the inner lining. This is easily the most handsome cover for Nook ereaders on the market.
Whatever cover for Nook ereaders that you choose, make sure you do some research, and read the reviews. There are a lot of cheap covers out there that might do more damage to your Nook screen than not having it would.

my nook froze and now i can't wake it up! How do i fix it?
I bought a nook two days ago. and it was working fine...but yesterday when i put it in sleep mode and put it on the charger, the charging light didn't go on and this morning it when i pressed the wake up button...it didn't wake up. I pressed it a few times... and then for extend times. I've tried plugging it into my computer as well, but its not recognized. anyone know how to reboot a nook?
It could be the charger was damaged and your "nook" is out of power. Once the battery runs down it won't fire up until there's sufficient charge.
May as simple as that - but if you just bought it take it back to store and exchange it. btw I'm assuming you've plugged in the charger into a working outlet.
